Today - February 7

7th of February.

This has got nothing to do with Feb 7. The whole idea behind the starting of this chain of post was to celebrate each day. But what I saw till now is that, everyday one battle was fought. Someone won and they celebrated. Others lost. But each day somewhere in the world blood was shed in a battlefield.

However, coming back to the story of today, in 1935 the classic board game Monopoly was invented which became the most commercially-successful board game in the history of United States। As the name says, the game was based on the economic concept of monopoly, the domination of the market by a single entity.

How surprising to see that people were aware of these events way back in 1930s and so they invented stuffs like this, which was aimed to teach people how monopolies end up bankrupting the many whilst giving extraordinary wealth to one or very few individuals।

Unfortunately people learned the wrong stuff from the game and what we saw in 2007-2008 was a classic example of this। Time to go back to the concepts.

Jai Gurudev!

Love!
