Today - February 4

Here comes – 4^th February.

This day in 1789 United States of America got its first president – George Washington who was unanimously elected by the U.S. Electoral College. He was also the commander of the Continental Army in the American Revolutionary War. For his central role in the formation of the US, he is often referred as the ‘the father of the nation’. We also have – a father of the nation. Only difference is that, their father of the nation had a different idea of achieving freedom then ours.

4^th Feb of 2004 saw the birth of Facebook, a mainstream online social networking site which gained immense popularity and revolutionized the current trend of online social relationships.
