Football has been a very popular game for a long time. The World Cup, Euro Cup and the National leagues always keeps the football lovers busy. Sitting in your home you can easily follow the Argentina – Brazil match at night 2 O’clock. But there was a time when all these super fast mediums were not available. Only in 1927 on January 22^nd the first ever live commentary of a football match anywhere in the world was broadcasted. The match was played between Arsenal F.C. and Sheffield United at Highbury.

In 1984 the Apple Macintosh, the first computer to popularize the computer mouse and the geographical user interface was introduced today during Super Bowl XVIII with its famous “1984” television commercial. Now this can easily be thought of as a huge huge event. Mac became famous for the two reasons mentioned in the first line. But the commercial that was made to promote it itself became a huge hit and it is considered to be one of the masterpieces in advertisement. And Super Bowl, if you do not know, you can anyways know. By the way this was the first Mac!
